#NVIDIA DRIVER FOR MAC OS HIGH SIERRA VMWARE INSTALL#
Install the latest CUDA driver that works with your currently installed version of OS X to enable CUDA support.
#NVIDIA DRIVER FOR MAC OS HIGH SIERRA VMWARE ARCHIVE#
The CUDA driver archive can be found here. Nvidia cards also require a CUDA driver to enable CUDA support. Refer here to check your OS X build number and install the driver that matches both your version of OS X and your build number. In the list below these are differentiated by a build number in parentheses, and are ordered oldest to newest, left to right. Some releases of OS X have multiple driver releases.
The following list includes links to current and past Nvidia driver releases.

You will not find individually named Nvidia drivers for OS X, they are all titled "Quadro & Geforce Mac OS X Driver Release xxx.xx.xxxxx". Only one driver is released by Nvidia and it includes support for all of their modern GPUs.
#NVIDIA DRIVER FOR MAC OS HIGH SIERRA VMWARE UPDATE#
Nvidia GPUs receive driver updates soon after each version update of OS X. Please note that AMD GPUs do not require additional drivers they are built directly into OS X. The hardware accelerated version (NOT in the VM, and works perfectly fine) reports the same error - so don't think that's related. In order to get the most out of your new MacVidCards GPU you may need to install new drivers for your current version of OS X.

I would think that's impossible with a software renderer - but who knows. QSGContext::initialize: depth buffer missing The only errors I see on the command line from Qt are: This is a fairly recent issue (past 6 months) and only happens in virtual machines (VMware) - anyone else had this problem? The renderer says Apple Software Renderer and -1 for depth buffer. On the VM if I define via: export QSG_INFO=1 If you don't interact with the UI it seems to be fairly stable, but trigger any animation, or interact with the UI via the mouse in any way and crazy flicker happens. Has anyone else experienced a VMware High Sierra (or newer) guest suffering serious flickering in the user interface using qml? I'm on 5.10.
